Kaiyo Rooftop

Sited on the 12th floor of the Hyatt Place hotel, Kaiyo Rooftop is a Nikkei restaurant & bar that looks out to panoramic views of San Francisco. The vibrant colors, materials, and textures of the architecture are inspired by Japanese-Peruvian culture and the client’s unique vision for a tropical oasis within the city. The large plant walls and wood finishes throughout the space create an inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of the Amazon rainforest. The central bar attracts patrons with its bold composition of finishes - green metal mesh arched screens, handmade green geometric-patterned tiles, and pink hand-woven pendant lights.

Kaiyo Rooftop is an award winner of SF Design Week 2022.
